Ken Kaestner
Owner, sabersmith, custom powder coater

Long time fan boy and California native, Ken is the guy behind Echo7Sabers, now Echo7Customs. Occupational Therapist by day, and custom powder coater at night, Ken adopted the phrase "Never Tell Me The Odds" when he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in the 90s. The odds were against him, but even 3,720 to 1 was better than he was given. After  tough battle and a successful bone marrow transplant, Ken has a very carefree and wonderful outlook on life. Each day and each experience is a gift!

Covid 19 gave us all a little extra time and idle hands, so Ken took up a hobby building junk sabers in the garage. This lead to more and more sophisticated builds, and now he enjoys powder coating and creating interesting textures and the stories behind each saber.

Tamara is Ken's wife of 22 years. A marketer by day, and support and creative consultant by night. She is also a proud "fan girl" and a huge fan of The Wars.
